The Real Secret to Positive Change
No bullshit here. So many people have so many good intentions, yet they either never complete what they’ve started, or lose interest or motivation while trying to change themselves for the better. As a result, not only are they stagnant in mediocrity, they feel helpless in their quest for improvement.
What if there was just one thing you could do to ensure your success and create positive change in your life and in the world around you?
There is. And the “secret” isn’t that hard. It’s called CONSISTENCY. That’s right. Consistency. By doing something positive towards your goal each day, no matter how small, over time, you will see the successes you’re after. “How long do I have to be consistent”, you ask? Forever… that’s how long.
Success is not something you can every fully achieve. It’s something we must work towards constantly, and work on once we’ve achieved it. We must maintain it, share it, and we must focus our attention on constant improvement. I use the analogy of stacking pennies on top of a person when explaining this to my clients.
Here it is, in a nutshell… If I put a penny on your shoulder today and had you go about your business, you wouldn’t even know it’s there. Even if I added another one tomorrow, you still wouldn’t even notice. But if I add a penny each day, day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, you’d be weighed down by a massive weight of pennies.
Now, associate each penny with a step towards positive change. Over time, the steps you take day to day, month to month, year to year matter massively. Once you’ve realized your change, you need to continue your quest for improvement anyway.
There’s no shortage of success.
It isn’t a finite resource. The problem is, that most people aren’t willing to do all the things they need to do day after day until their goals and successes are a reality! If your goal is getting fit, then each workout over a long period of time molds and shapes your body. If healthy weight loss is what you are after, then putting the right types of foods in your body over a long time changes your overall health and reduces your bodyfat. If you want to have a successful business, then the steps you take each day must be in alignment with the end result in mind.
Whatever you choose to do, you must do it with the most diligent consistency. Only then, is your success assured!
